Increasing Parameters of Diesel Engines by Their Transformation for Methanol Conversion Products

The work is aimed at solving the problem of converting existing diesel power drives to gas fuels, which are cheaper and more environmentally friendly alternatives fuel. Method energy efficiency increasing alternative fuels has been improved. Thermochemical essence source fuel based on provisions thermodynamics considered. Alternative methanol chosen as initial product for conversion process its cost, value, temperature conditions have taken into account. Calculations showed that thermal effect from combustion converted mixture CO H2 exceeds same amount non-convertible methanol. Fuel engine were increased due thermochemical regeneration exhaust heat. An experimental setup was created study operation a products. Experimental studies power, economic, environmental parameters products performed. shown engines using technically reasonable. consumption reduction accompanied by performance improvement working together with reactor. Formation nitrogen oxides in gases decreased range 22–35%, carbon monoxide occurred 0–24% according crankshaft speed loading engine. Conversion very profitable, because price is, average, 10–20% cost
